Jennie Spere
President/Auctioneer/Real Estate Broker

Jennie Spere has been in the Mortgage and Real Estate Business for more than 12 years. She is the President of her full service Real Estate & Mortgage Company located in the city of Rancho Cucamonga.  

In 1989 Jennie Graduated from Cal State University Los Angeles with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting.  Just a few years after earning her undergraduate degree Jennie earned her Juris Doctorate degree from American University. 

In 2007 Jennie was introduced to the “Next Generation of Real Estate” and just a short time later Jennie and her husband Paul Spere became so excited about the Auction Method of Marketing they decided to partner with Pacific Auction Exchange and established Pacific Auction Exchange (PAX) The Auction Portal, Inc. a Rancho Cucamonga based franchise of PAX.  Jennie says, “Auctions accelerate the sale of items and allow a seller to sell property in only 30 days, and that is exciting!”

Jennie attended and graduated from the World Champion College of Auctioneering in 2007.  Jennie is also a Notary Public and is Bi-lingual speaking both English and Spanish.


Paul Spere

Paul Spere has been in the Mortgage & Real Estate Business for more than 7 years.  Together, with his wife Jennie, Paul has been responsible for the daily operations of their Rancho Cucamonga based Mortgage & Real Estate company. 

Since becoming a franchise owner of Pacific Auction Exchange in 2007 most of Paul’s time has been spent talking to real estate brokers and agents, builders and property owners about auctions.  “Anyone that I can talk to about auctions I will.”  Paul says, “In our current real estate market it is exciting to know that we can help people sell their property quickly and obtain fair market value!”   “What other option do people have in this market to sell property quickly?”  “We have this option available to everyone now with PAX and that is exciting!”

Paul was the winning pitcher in his CIF Championship baseball game at Anaheim Stadium and accepted a full baseball scholarship to a Los Angeles college.  Paul later graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.  Paul has spent several years in outside sales and sales management working & developing territories in several different states. 

Paul attended and graduated from the World Champion College of Auctioneering in 2007.  Paul is also a Notary Public.  Paul loves both watching and playing sports.    Paul and his son are also avid bass fishermen.
 

Dora Villanueva

Dora has been in the Real Estate Business for over 10 years. She became a real estate agent in 1999 specializing in residential real estate.  Dora graduated with an Associates Degree in Behavioral Science in 1992 from IVC College and became a certified Notary Public in 2007. Dora is currently working with PAX, the Auction Portal and is responsible for auction event preparation, marketing, and event coordination.   Paul and Jennie Spere say, “Dora is our SPECIAL person that puts & keeps it all together for us”  “Dora is extremely organized and is such a critical part of our auction team!”  Dora is also bi-lingual speaking both English and Spanish.

Paul & Jennie Spere are also members of the National Association of Auctioneers, California State Association of Auctioneers, National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, Citrus Valley Association of Realtors, National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals & many other national & state associations.

Chuck McAtee

Mr. McAtee has 15 years experience in the Real Estate career in Paducah, Kentucky in 1990. In 1992, he earned his Real Estate Broker’s License. He is a Broker in the states of Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee. In 1995, he purchased a Century 21 Franchise (A-Auction Real Estate). His duties as a Franchise Broker included actively overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Real Estate office, and assuring compliance with Real Estate regulations and Franchisor requirements. Also, he actively sold properties, prospected for new listings, and handled the training of agents.

In January 1998, upon graduating from the World Champion College of Auctioneering, Mr. McAtee sold his Century 21 Franchise and founded Mac & Mac Real Estate and Auction, in Kentucky and Tennessee. He held the title of President/CEO of Mac & Mac Real Estate and Auction, until 2000. He obtained an Auctioneer’s License in the states of Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, and Tennessee. Mr. McAtee throughout his career has conducted hundreds of Real Estate Auctions. He is the 2005 President of the California State Auctioneer’s Association, and a past member of the Board of Auctioneers for Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

In 2000, Mr. McAtee became a partner in Pacific Auction Exchange.  Since then, he has been responsible for directing day-to-day operations, hiring, developing the sales staff, setting up and conducting Auctions. Also, Mr. McAtee is in charge of Franchise Development for PAX. In 2005, Mr. McAtee became the sole owner of Pacific Auction Exchange.


Marti E. Barajas

Mrs. Barajas has an extensive history in the Auction business. Marti started her career over six years ago in the Auto Auction Industry as a principle in Galpin Auto Transport Inc., Southern California’s leading Auction Transport Company, which her partner still successfully operates today. In 2003 Mrs. Barajas became a Pacific Auction Exchange Franchisee. As owner/operator of the company she successfully conducted Real Estate and Personal Property Auctions.

Mrs. Barajas is affiliated with numerous Real Estate and Auction Industry Associations. She is an officer of the Board of Directors for California State Auctioneers Association and an active member of the National Association of Auctioneers. As a licensed California Real Estate Agent she is a member of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, and Bakersfield Association of Realtors. In March of 2004 she graduated from the World Champion College of Auctioneering.

In 2005 Mrs. Barajas was recruited by Pacific Auction Exchange Inc. as Director of Franchise Operations. As one of Pacific Auction Exchange Inc.’s leading franchises Marti brings significant experience in the daily operations of Franchisee’s business. Her duties include ongoing development and training of new franchisees, coordinating auctions, and organizing escrows.


Daryl Franks

Daryl has over 18 years of business practice including Real Estate investing and development. He has successfully developed and sold several telecommunications companies. As President and CEO of these companies Daryl’s duties included dealing with management of fortune 100 telecom companies and marketing to the end consumer.

In 2004 Mr. Franks joined Pacific Auction Exchange Inc. as Director of Franchise Sales. His duties include Franchise Sales, marketing and development. Daryl brings his experience in recruiting and developing a sales team, establishing territories and achieving sales goals to Pacific Auction Exchange corporate office.

Mike Hynes brings to Pacific Auction Exchange Inc. over 16 years of general management, business development and Real Estate finance experience. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Cal Poly, Mr. Hynes worked in the environmental construction field providing assessment services on a number of high profile projects, including the Fort Ord military base closure in Monterey.

Following his tenure in the environmental industry, Mr. Hynes received his California Real Estate Salesperson license and joined the Diablo Funding Group in Walnut Creek, CA. As a Senior Loan Agent for the largest mortgage brokerage in Northern California, Mr. Hynes brings wealth of industry knowledge and contacts to the Pacific Auction Exchange Inc. Franchise sales team.


Bryn Mercado

Bryn Mercado has years of experience with sales and leadership.  He was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA, before moving on to attend Westmont College, Santa Barbara.  At Westmont, he was a leader of the men’s tennis team, and a recipient of bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  Bryn has also gained much experience over the years in coaching and development of athletic skills.

In 2005 Bryn joined Pacific Auction Exchange Inc. as a Franchising Associate.  Bryn contributes youthful energy and a disciplined work ethic to the corporate team. His duties include Franchise development and training, as well as marketing and support of the Franchise Network.

Fabian Casarez

Fabian Casarez is a Broker/Auctioneer for West Coast Properties Inc. doing business as Pacific Auction Exchange.  He was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA.  Where he earned degrees in Marketing, Financing and Entrepreneurships, along with other certifications from a variety of associations within the Real Estate and Mortgage Industries.  He has continued to be apart of these associations for the past 16 years. 

During his career in the Real Estate and Mortgage Industries, Fabian Casarez has been part of the Century-21 and the Prudential California Realtors organizations.  While with Centrury-21 he had the honor of receiving the prestigious award of Centurion Agent, which is only given to a few top select agents.  He also received the Quality Service Award for continually going above and beyond  the normal course of service for his clients.  While with Prudential California Realtors he received the National Top Producer Award, which is only given to the top producing agents on a national level.

As a Realtor, Mortgage Broker, Business Owner and Entrepreneur; Fabian, has always believed that to become successful you must first believe in yourself, enjoy your work and always be ready for new and bold opportunities.  This is why he has become apart of Pacific Auction Exchange, Inc.

For years he has been looking for new and exciting alternative ways of selling Real Estate.  He realizes, that for the most part, Real Estate has been sold in the same manner since the early 1920s.  Now with the Auction method of selling Real Estate he has found his avenue to bring more excitement and options to both the Real Estate Industry and general public.

Shawn LeBaron is the owner of West Coast Realty Group and partners with Stephen Ostrowski doing business as Pacific Auction Exchange. He was born in Yuma Arizona as the son of a 20 Year Marine. After joining the Air Force after high school he was in Management positions with several electronic companies. In 1990 he received his Real Estate License. As a sales agent he was top producing agent for Realty World in Chico, California. Since then he has managed and owned several small Real Estate and Mortgage Broker offices. In 2000 he opened West Coast Realty Group and currently operates the company as Shawn LeBaron & TEAM with 12 active agents and a support staff. As an innovative company Shawn saw the need to keep up with the changing Real Estate needs of his clients. The Auction Method of marketing brings the future of Real Estate to the Northern California area for both the clients and other Real Estate Agents.


James D. Pennington

Mr. Pennington is a third generation Auctioneer with 25 years experience in the field. He has called over 2,400 Real Estate and Livestock Auctions.

Mr. Pennington has held the position of Owner, President, and Lead Auctioneer of Western Stockman’s Market, Inc., one the top 10 livestock Auction markets in the United States. Western Stockman’s Market generates over $50 million in gross sales annually with 40 employees. He oversaw the complete day to day operations of the company and conducted weekly Cattle Auctions and a variety of specialty Livestock Auctions throughout the year. Also since 1997, Mr. Pennington has held the position of President and Instructor of the World Champion College of Auctioneering which holds Auction courses twice a year in Bakersfield, California. In 1999, Mr. Pennington founded Pacific Auction Exchange, Inc., and has held the title of President. In this position, he oversees the setup and conduction of Real Estate Auctions.

Mr. Pennington is the 2001 President of the California State Auctioneers Association and was the 1998 Reserve Champion at the World Livestock Auctioneering Contest. He also won the 2000 International Champion contest held in Alberta, Canada. Mr. Pennington sold his interest in Pacific Auction Exchange Inc. in August 2005 and has contracted to stay on as a consultant for a period of time.
